Spirit of Community: An Evening Celebrating Sioux Center

The community is invited to attend the annual “Spirit of Community – An Evening Celebrating Sioux Center” on Friday, April 10, 2026, at the Terrace View Event Center. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m., with dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Hosted by the Sioux Center Chamber of Commerce and the City of Sioux Center, this special evening celebrates the heart of Sioux Center—its people. The event honors individuals, businesses, and organizations who go above and beyond to make the community a better place to live, work, and serve.

 

“This event is a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the people, businesses, and organizations that make Sioux Center such a strong and vibrant community,” said Barb Den Herder, CEO of the Sioux Center Chamber of Commerce. “It’s always a special evening of connection, appreciation, and fun.”

 

Sioux Center Mayor Dale Vander Berg also emphasized the importance of the event: “Spirit of Community is an excellent reminder of what makes Sioux Center special. It’s an opportunity to recognize those who serve others in exceptional ways and to celebrate the strong sense of community that continues to define our city.”

 

A highlight of the evening is the recognition of this year’s award recipients, along with a celebration of new businesses that have joined the community over the past year.

  • Organization – Sioux Center Christian School

Event Schedule

  • 5:00 p.m. – Doors Open & Cash Bar
  • 5:45 p.m. – Prime Rib Dinner catered by Cedar Rock Grill
  • 7:00 p.m. – Award Presentations
  • Following Awards – Entertainment by Duelly Noted Dueling Pianos, a high-energy, interactive musical experience
  • The evening will conclude by 9 pm

 

Tickets are $55 per guest or $400 for a table of eight. Reservations can be made by contacting the Sioux Center Chamber of Commerce at 712-722-3457 or by emailing leahk@siouxcenterchamber.com by April 1st.
