As a member of the Sioux Center Chamber, I appreciate how progressive and cooperative the Sioux Center Chamber is with local business and leaders in the community. As a business leader, I have firsthand experienced Leadership Sioux Center, and have grown in my knowledge of the community and appreciate the many ways I can give back to support the community.

The Classroom to Careers is another excellent program the Chamber facilitates, and this is a great way for educators to learn more about what we do here at Pella to help prepare students for the future. I appreciate the focus on helping our youth to be better leaders and future employees!

Visibility is one of today’s most valuable commodities. The Chamber helps get our name out there—through giveaways, events, and promotions—that bring people in our doors and remind them of the local businesses here to serve them. The team is focused on increasing visibility in fun new ways each year, while also continuing the strong programs they’ve built over time.

Having managed Bomgaars stores in different communities, I’ve seen many chambers, but Sioux Center is different. They’re progressive and always looking to grow both themselves and the community. I’ve been amazed at the variety of programs and tools, from social media support to the local Chamber gift card program that keeps dollars in our businesses.

Our growth depends on the growth of our community. The Chamber connects businesses to people and people to businesses through events, online presence, and workforce support. As businesses grow and hire, the cycle continues—and the Chamber is the hub that makes that happen. Every success lifts us all.

As a Chamber member, we get instant access to an amazing network of other business owners and employees who all want the same thing: Sioux Center to thrive.

I enjoy getting to attend local ribbon cuttings and chamber lunches as my schedule allows. Also, as a mom, I love taking my kids to Hometown Holiday events and Summer Celebration.

Exposure is so important to any business, and ours is no different. The Chamber does a great job promoting Sioux Center to a wide variety of people. People who we hope will ultimately become our customers.

Being a part of the Chamber of Commerce provides our business and employees the opportunity to network with other businesses and work collaboratively to keep making our community better. I have been fortunate to serve on the Board of Directors for the Chamber the last couple of years and working with the staff and other Board members has given me additional insight into what makes our community and region both successful and unique. Being a part of that vision for the future is incredibly rewarding as we continue to grow as a community. Sioux Center Health continues to grow with our community and being a part of the Chamber helps align strategies for that growth.

The Chamber is one of our greatest ambassadors as we recruit new employees and share all the reasons why moving to our region and joining our team is the right choice for each prospective new employee. Being a part of the Chamber of Commerce just makes good business sense!

We appreciate the commitment our Chamber has in making connections between businesses and the community. The Chamber is an excellent avenue for our business to reach other businesses and those we serve. The Chamber also provides many networking and learning opportunities that have led to strong relationships professionally and personally.

I have the pleasure of serving on the Chamber Board of Directors. It has been educational for me to learn more about all our Chamber does and intends to do. It has been exciting and rewarding to be a part of the process to evolve and discern the best ways to serve our growing community.

We appreciate the dedication the Chamber has for promoting local company brand awareness, sharing business celebrations/milestones, highlighting our community to draw in workforce and visitors, assisting in addressing daycare and housing needs. All of these areas, and more, have a direct impact on Culver’s and our employees.

We absolutely love being in the Chamber coupon books. It drives in new customers, who end up becoming great friends!

Our biggest highlight as a Chamber member was our ribbon cutting for our new location! The turnout was incredible and we felt so much support from the Chamber and its members! We are thankful our Chamber works so hard to help the community and businesses continually grow! We are so blessed to have a well-run Chamber!
